One Hundred Years
If you were a ghost looking back on your life a hundred years from now, you would not give a fuck about checking your social networks, texting, watching television, what you ate, or what you drank. You can no longer taste the food. The drink no longer quenches your thirst or alters the mind. Social networks probably don’t exist. Texting has probably evolved into some form of telekinesis made by a giant corporation employing aliens on Jupiter where we have harvested their technology after they offered it to us for free, then turned around and started selling it at a dramatic markup back to both their society and ours. The cool ones do it old school and just talk. Those with the means look down upon them secretly, but still pretend like they have lots of “natural” conversations with their mouths as an expression of modesty and fashion. No one’s buying the act. Not even Xaveshe Gena Hushemor.
